AWS Outage Impacting SMART

Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced a major outage this morning, which is having some impacts on SHARP and SMART. AWS has reported progress towards recovery, but various services may still be impacted. Users have reported experiencing general system slowness or have been timed out of the system. Processes that rely on file transfers from the mainframe also appear to be impacted.

Users will be notified as more information is available. If there are any significant impacts at the agency level, please open a Kansas Service Desk ticket to notify the central team so assistance can be provided.
