We are experiencing technical difficulties with the SMART international address validation process.
You may have received an error message ‘Error connecting to Address Doctor Web Service’ or something similar.
We have contacted our third-party software provider for assistance, and until this issue is resolved we have disabled the address validation for international addresses in SMART.
You may continue to add international addresses. They will just not be validated as they are entered. If/when the address is edited after international address validation is turned back on, the international address would be validated at that time.
Address validation for United States addresses is not affected by this issue, and they continue to be validated as entered in SMART.
We will notify you when this issue is resolved, and international address validation is restored in SMART.
