The month of June 2023 (Period 12, FY 2023) was closed for AR, BI and PC at 7:00 PM yesterday 7/5/2023.
The General Ledger Close process, which creates fiscal year-end closing and opening journal entries (Journal IDs YECxxxxxxx), will be performed on Friday July 7, 2023. SMART will be closed to agency users on Friday morning, July 7, 2023. SMART will reopen to agency users once this process is complete by 10:00 am.
GL Cash Balances for FY 2024 will not include the ending cash balance from FY 2023 until the closing process is complete. Keep this in mind when reviewing cash balances online or running the GL Cash Balance Report.
