Agencies that do not use the INF43 or INF44 are reminded that checks and cash should continue to be deposited with the State Treasurer’s Office on June 29 and June 30 using the Temporary Deposit Form.

Using the Temporary Deposit Form for depositing checks and cash on June 29 and June 30 creates a ‘deposit in transit’ situation. Agencies are then required to enter the deposit, for the ‘deposit in transit’, in SMART using an accounting date of June 30, 2020 when SMART reopens on July 1, 2020. More detailed instructions are provided in the year-end informational circular in the Accounts Receivable section.
