Agencies that do not use the INF43 or INF44 are reminded that checks and cash should continue to be deposited with the State Treasurer’s Office on June 27 and June 28 using the Temporary Deposit Form.

Using the Temporary Deposit Form for depositing checks and cash on June 27 and June 28 creates a ‘deposit in transit’ situation. Agencies are then required to enter the deposit, for the ‘deposit in transit’, in SMART using an accounting date of June 30, 2019 when SMART reopens on July 1, 2019. More detailed instructions are provided in the year-end informational circular in the Accounts Receivable section.
