ACTION NEEDED: Payments to Century Business Technologies

Due to a supplier acquisition, Contract ID 43340A with CBT of Kansas (dba Century Business Technologies LLC) (SMART Supplier ID 0000742576) replaces Contract ID 43340 with Century Business Technologies (Supplier ID 0000055634). The Supplier ID and Contract ID were changed effective September 29, 2025. Agencies should be utilizing Contract ID 43340A with CBT of Kansas, LLC (SMART Supplier ID 0000742576) moving forward.

 

Several agencies have open vouchers and purchase orders (POs) still associated with the old contract. Any existing vouchers that are fully approved by 10am on 11/26/2025 can be allowed to process using the old supplier/contract.

 

For all future payments, the following actions need to be taken at the agency level to correct the contract and supplier:

 

1.      For FY2026 to encumber funding for the remainder of the fiscal year, agencies should close the existing PO and create a new PO associated to the correct contract with the new Supplier ID. The KS_PO_CNTRCT_SPEND query will show all POs associated to a particular contract.

Ensure any vouchers associated to the original PO have either been paid or deleted/closed before closing the PO (Delete or Close a Voucher job aid).

2.      For any fiscal year prior to FY2026 where balances remain and payment still needs to be made to the supplier, agencies should create a PO with the new contract and new supplier using the same funding as the old PO and enter a Kansas Service Desk ticket to request a Budget Date Change. Be sure to provide the old PO number for reference.

 

Please note that Contract ID 55526A with Century Business Technologies through NASPO also should not be used. Contract 55526B with CBT of Kansas LLC (dba Century Business Technologies LLC) is now available for agency use.
