New Punchout Process – NASPO eMarketPlace

The Office of Procurement and Contracts (OPC) and the SMART Team are pleased to announce the launch of a new punchout link to the NASPO eMarketPlace, an electronic marketplace for supplier web catalog ordering which will be available for eProcurement Requisitions starting Monday, April 27th.
All punchout activity will now be accessed through the NASPO eMarketPlace and has been expanded to include the suppliers listed below. The existing individual links to Grainger, Fastenal, and Staples will be removed.
Below is a complete list of suppliers available to State of Kansas agencies via the NASPO eMarketPlace. More suppliers may be added and communicated to agencies as additional NASPO contracts are negotiated with specific suppliers.

Suppliers noted above with a * will accept Electronic Data Exchange (EDX), a SMART Dispatch method that sends the Purchase Order (PO) directly to the supplier electronically. The Dispatch Method on POs for those suppliers will default to EDX. All other suppliers must be dispatched via the agency’s normal ordering method.
Suppliers accessible from the NASPO eMarketPlace each have their own statewide contract with the State of Kansas. This contract number will be provided by NASPO and automatically applied to the requisition lines when the items are pulled back into SMART from the punchout.
Note: NASPO punchout requisitions are the ONLY requisitions where the supplier contract will auto-populate in SMART. The contract must be manually applied for all other requisitions.
