General Reminders Regarding Phishing Scams

This is a common time of the year to have an uptick in the number of attempted phishing scams seeking information such as W-2s, 1099s, requests for payment, and spoofing valid emails to create the appearance that requests are valid. Please be vigilant in validating all requests BEFORE replying or clicking on any link. Always verify unexpected requests through a trusted method, such as contacting the sender directly using a known phone number.
