2nd Annual Kansas Agency Business Summit!

We are excited to officially invite you to the 2nd Annual Kansas Agency Business Summit! This year’s event will be at Hotel Topeka at City Center, on October 15^th and 16^th, 2025.

The Kansas Agency Business Summit is the premier state agency networking and educational event for employees of the State of Kansas enterprise. Sessions will feature rich discussions of procurement and accounting best practices, cybersecurity standards, evolving business processes and other topics to help agencies better understand State of Kansas operations.

The link below will take you to the 2025 KABS Registration Form. There you will also register for breakout sessions. Attached to this email are the descriptions for each breakout session, as well as a sneak peek of the agenda. Deadline for registration is Friday, September 12^th, 2025, at 5:00PM.

Event Details:

• Date: October 15^th and 16^th, 2025
• Time: 10:00AM-4:30PM on Wednesday, October 15^th, and 9:00AM-3:00PM on Thursday, October 16^th
• Location: Hotel Topeka at City Center, 1717 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66612

Note: To encourage statewide attendance for this event, the Department of Administration will reimburse state agencies, from funds authorized to promote procurement professional development, for the travel costs (lodging, per diem, transportation/mileage) for any employee traveling 75 miles or greater to attend the Kansas Agency Business Summit. Reimbursement will be made via interfund following the event for documented agency expenditures for qualified attendees.
