CONUS Rate Updates for October 1, 2024

CONUS rates were updated Monday September 30, 2024 and have an effective date of October 1, 2024.

Please note: The Meals and Incidental Expenses (MIE) rate increased by $9 in Kansas, the Lodging standard rates have increased by $3 in Kansas.

The query, KS_EX_CONUS_RATES, contains all CONUS locations along with the M&IE daily amounts, per diem deductions, and lodging rates based on the travel date entered. The query contains current and historical CONUS rates as of January 1, 2016.

CONUS rates in SMART are updated October 1 to coincide with the adoption of new rates by the federal government. Quarterly loads will also be done January 1, April 1, and July 1 to account for corrections or updates to the CONUS and applicable OCONUS rates
