Budget Date Change Requests

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer will be more closely analyzing agency budget date change requests to help determine if policy changes or clarifications are needed regarding the appropriate use of prior fiscal year encumbrances.
To more efficiently analyze the requests, agencies will need to complete the required information on the new Budget Date Change Request Form and attach to a ManageEngine Service Desk ticket. A job aid has been created to assist agencies with the completion of the form.   All budget date changes requested April 30 and after must be submitted using the new form. 

As noted on the Budget Date Change Request Form, by submitting the request, the agency approver is certifying the budget date change constitutes an appropriate use of funds, following all federal and state laws, regulations and policies.

To ensure budget date change requests are updated in a timely manner, agencies are asked to include all requested information and detail on the Budget Date Change Request Form and attach to a ManageEngine Service Desk ticket using the appropriate template.

ManageEngine Service Desk tickets requesting budget date changes without the required information will be returned to the requestor.
